New Delhi, May 9: According to defense officials, the missile air defense system in air from indigenously developed sky surface has played an important role in thwarting the Pakistani drone attacks targeting Indian property on Thursday.

During the night of intervention of May 8 and May 9, the Indian Army successfully responded to Pakistan along with the western border several drone attacks and ceasefire violations by Pakistan and the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir (LOC), the Indian Army said.
The Indian Army said, “Pakistan’s armed forces started several attacks using drones and other sages along the entire western border on the night of 08 and 09 May 2025.
