The Mahayutth government will be sworn in on December 5 in Maharashtra. Bharatiya Janata Party chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule gave information about the swearing-in date on Saturday evening. Meanwhile, NCP leader Ajit Pawar has clarified the government’s situation to a great extent, but suspense remains over the face of the chief minister. Ajit Pawar said the chief minister of the state will be from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), while the Shiv Sena and the National Congress Party (NCP) will have a deputy chief minister each.
Addressing the media in Pune, Ajit Pawar said the next chief minister of Maharashtra will be from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the two deputy chief ministers will be from other constituencies of the ruling grand alliance . Apart from the BJP, the Mahayurti alliance also includes the Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde and the NCP led by Ajit Pawar.

Mahayuthy wins resounding election victory, BJP in lead
The Mahayoti Alliance achieved a huge victory in the assembly elections held in Maharashtra. In this election, the Bharatiya Janata Party once again emerged as the largest party. The BJP contested 149 seats in the alliance but won 132 seats on its own. On the other hand, alliance partner Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena won 57 seats and Ajit Pawar-led NCP won 41 seats. Just like that, Mahayoti returned with a majority.
