Air India said on Sunday that all its flights are currently escaping from some airplanes on the Persian Gulf, amidst increasing tension between Israel and Iran.
An Air India spokesperson said in a statement that adjustment on the route may have an extended flight period for services for destinations including UAE, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait, in addition to some flights for Europe and North America/for/S/.
An Air India spokesman said, “Amidst increasing tension in the Gulf region, the Air India Group confirmed that our flights currently do not work on airplanes in Iran, Iraq and Israel.”
As an active remedy, Air India said that it would be progressively to avoid the use of some airspacers on the Persian Gulf in the coming days, will choose the UAE, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait rather than alternative routes for flights to destinations.
