Air India on Tuesday announced the expansion of suspension on all flights from Tel Aviv till June 19, 2025.
In a post on X, the airline said, “Our flights from Tel Aviv and our flights will be suspended till 19 June 2025. Until June 19, customers holding valid tickets for the journey will be offered a one -time discount or cancellation for the reciprocal fee.
This came after the May 4 strike, when the Israeli air defense failed to disrupt the ballistic missile coming from Yemen, which was affected near an access road at several hundred yards from the control tower in the main Terminal 3, as reported by the Times of Israel.
Since then, most of the foreign airlines have been expanding to cancel flights from the country and the country for a few weeks, for a few weeks, causing many Israel to be stuck abroad. Among very few foreign airlines, who have recently resumed non-stop flight services for Israel, they are US carrier delta, Hungarian low-cost career Vij Air, and Greece’s Aegean Airlines, The Times of Israel.
Hamas carried out a massive terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, killing 1200 people and caught more than 250 hostages, of which more than 100 are still in captivity.

Air India had earlier announced that its flights to Tel Aviv would be suspended till 25 May. (ANI)
