After OP Sindoor, the jointness of the three-series at the top of the government: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, 30 September (IANS) Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday praised the synergy of Tri-Seva during Operation Sindoor, which raised timely decision making and status awareness, reiterating the government’s purpose.

Addressing a seminar organized by the Indian Air Force (IAF) at Delhi’s Subroto Park, Rajnath Singh said, “Our government aims to further promote jointness and integration among three services. It is not only a matter of policy, but also a matter of survival in a rapidly changing security environment.”

He said, “The developed character of war, joint with a complex difference of traditional and non-traditional threats, creates a main operating requirement rather than the case of choice,” he said.

He said, “Jointness today has become a fundamental requirement for our national security and operational effectiveness. While each of our service has the ability to react independently, the mutual nature of land, sea, air, place and cyberspace makes the collaborative power a true guarantor of victory,” he said.

The seminar on the theme ‘promotes maximum jointness – the synergy through inspection and Audit, aviation standards and shared learning in aerospace safety domains’ underlines the need for India’s armed forces to fulfill the demands of modern war and adopt intensive integration to maximize defense preparations.

The Defense Minister highlighted the importance of IAF’s Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACS), working unitedly with the Indian Army’s Aptir and the Indian Navy’s Trigun, which was building a joint operating backbone during Operation Sindoor.

“During Operation Sindor, the coordination of Tri-Services produced an integrated, real-time operating picture. It made the commanders empower timely decisions, increase status awareness and strengthen the risk of fricid.

The Union Minister recalled the conference of the recent joint commanders held in Kolkata, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi underlined the importance of jointness and integration.
