Anvay, who captained the Karnataka under-14 team last year, recently scored an unbeaten 200 runs against the Tumkur district in the KSCA under-16 divisional championship against Bengaluru district. Anvay’s elder brother Samit, 19, is an all-rounder. After representing Mysore Warriors in the Maharaja T20 Trophy, he was selected in the Indian squad for the multi-format home series against Australia U-19 in September and October.
