After 3 dead vehicle strike tree, Niagara-on-the-Lake catchs fire: Police

Police say three people died after a car hit a tree and on Monday morning, Niagra-on-the-Lake caught fire.

Niagra police say they responded to reports of a serious single-vehicle collision at around 3 pm in the area of Queenston Road and Concession 6.

Investigators say the vehicle got out of the road, hit a tree and quickly climbed into flames, causing three people to die on the spot.

Police say that the forensic services unit is working to identify the victims and inform the family.

They say that detectives are investigating the leading circumstances for conflict.
