Jammu, May 13: The Jammu and Kashmir administration expressed deep sorrows and heartfelt condolences to the martyrdom of Raj Kumar Thapa, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri, who set his life during cross -border firing while serving the nation with unwavering dedication.
Thapa was a highly respected and committed officer who was known for his integrity, discipline and people-centered attitude. His contribution during the Buddha crisis in Rajouri stands as a bright example of administrative courage and accountability.
Between stress and difficult terrain, he played an important role in coordination of relief, maintaining peace and ensuring safety of citizens. His leadership in those testing times gave him great respect in all sections of society.
His martyrdom is an irreparable loss not only for civil administration but also for the entire center area of Jammu and Kashmir. The J&K administration stands in solidarity with the martyr Thapa’s family in this hour of grief and respects his sacrifice with deep reverence.
