Adani Group supplied 65,000 tonnes of high -power cement for Chenb Bridge

Adani Cement, including Ambuja Cements and ACC, has recently played its role in the construction of the world’s highest railway Arch Bridge on the Chenab River in Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement on Wednesday, Adani Cement said it was a major cement supplier in the landmark project with 65,000 metric tons.
The supplied cement ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) was 43 grade, known for its high strength, durability and coherent quality, which is ideal for complex and large -scale infrastructure, which is in touch with extreme climate and geological conditions, said.

An important part of the expansion of the ambitious infrastructure of Indian Railways in the region, the bridge stands as a will for India’s resolve to connect its distant geographicals through the world -class infrastructure. The execution of this engineering feat was anchored by the Indian Railways.

The Kashmir Valley was connected to the rest of India with the inauguration of the much awaited and the world’s highest railway Arch Bridge on the Chenab River during its day visit to Jammu and Kashmir last week.
Architectural Marvel Chenab Rail Bridge is the world’s highest railway arch bridge located 359 meters from the river. It is a 1,315 m tall steel arc bridge which is an engineer to face seismic and air conditions.
During his visit, the Prime Minister also inaugurated India’s first cable-stained rail bridge, Anji Bridge, which will serve the country in a challenging area. (AI)
