Megha Shetty earlier in an interview with Times of India looked back at her working experience in the serial “Jothe Jotheyali” and recalled some precious moments. She shared the emotional experience of her last day of filming, realizing that the series began and ended with her—she was in the first shot and would be in the last. For four years, the set had become her second home, and she felt like she was being separated from her family. More than 1,000 episodes were filmed, and she recalled the 1,000 days she spent with the cast and crew.

Mejia mentioned that many people still recognize her by the name of her character in the series, Anu Sirimane, rather than her real name. She also fondly remembers how people would bring food to the set from their homes. Still, she’s grateful for the overwhelming love and support she continues to receive, which means a lot to her.
