Actress Gomathi Priya injured her foot on the sets of Tamil show Siragadikka Aasai

Siragadikka Aasai is one of the most popular Tamil daily soaps. The serial is known for its engaging storyline and entertaining performances by actors like Gomathi Priya, Vetri Vasanth, and others. Recently, the serial was in the news due to the accident that happened to Gomati. Gomati shared a video on Instagram of her injuries sustained in the shooting. The video shows Gomati driving a Scooty car with one of her co-actresses, sitting on the back seat, on the sets of Siragadikka Aasai. It is clear from the video that Gomati lost control of the vehicle and the scooter collided with a sharp surface. Gomati said this resulted in an injury to her ankle. As shown in the video, despite the injury, she continued filming and enjoying her job.

Gomati’s fans expressed concern for the actress and asked her to be careful in future.

Gomati is basking in the success of her serial Siragadikka Aasai. The daily soap opera completed the important milestone of 100 episodes in 2023. She spoke about this achievement in an interaction with TOI. She said, “I am proud to be a part of such an amazing series of Siragadikka Aasai and I am delighted that we are approaching the 100th episode.” The TV show launched in January 2023 and stars Gomathi and Vasanth in the lead roles. The show also stars actors like Narasimha Raju, A Revathy, Sri Deva and others. The series is also airing on Disney+Hotstar.

Gomathi also shared interesting behind-the-scenes footage of the series on Instagram. She uploaded a glimpse of the daily soap today. In this scene, she exudes elegance in a blue suit paired with a purple dupatta. It’s obvious from the scene that she was filming in a flower shop and speaking some inaudible dialogue.
