‘Accused visited Salman Khan’s house 3 times and fired 5 shots’: Mumbai Police

Three probes conducted, five shots fired – Mumbai Police today unveiled the sensational shooting near Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai home after arresting two suspects in the crime in Bhuj, Gujarat Details of the incident.

Vicky Gupta, 24, and Sagar Kumar Palak, 21, both from West Champaran in Bihar, were killed late Monday night at a building in Kutch district of Gujarat He was arrested by Mumbai police inside the temple. Kutch-West Deputy Inspector General Mahendra Bagadiya confirmed that Gupta and Palak had admitted their involvement in the shooting incident.

According to police, the defendants searched Mr. Khan’s home three times before the incident.

According to police sources, both men were members of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. How the defendant was arrested

Police in five states including Maharashtra, Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab launched a coordinated operation to arrest those involved. The police have registered an FIR and using CCTV footage, they pieced together key evidence and formulated a plan to nab the accused.

Vicky Gupta and Sagar Kumar Palak had been living in a rented house in Panvel, Raigad, Maharashtra. The two paid a deposit of Rs 10,000 for the house and agreed to pay rent of Rs 3,500 per month.

Sagar Kumar Palak’s previous stint in Haryana has become the focus of investigation after reports emerged of his links with the notorious Bishnoi gang. The search operation adopted a multi-pronged approach and 12 specialized teams were set up to track down the accused.

The police sent a team to Gujarat after suspecting that the accused might be hiding in the state. The police first reached Bhuj and then went to Nakatrana, 58 km away, where they nabbed the accused from a temple.

The two accused were subsequently sent to Mumbai and were produced before a magistrate’s court on Tuesday.

The crime branch requested that the suspects be detained for 14 days, citing the need to interrogate them to reveal details about the conspiracy and identify the masterminds behind the entire incident.

The court approved the police’s request for detention and gave nine days (to April 25) for further investigation.
