The anti-Jammu and anti-Kashmir anti-corruption bureau has filed a case against a track for the inequality of money for its known sources of income in Lolab area of Kupwara district.
According to a statement issued to the news agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a verification was made by ACB on allegations of ratioless assets raised by Patwari in Revenue Department when an Ayub Khan S/O Gulmshar Khan R/O Donwari Lolab, a complaint was received.
The statement said that it was alleged in the complaint that Patwari is leading a grand lifestyle in addition to the houses of gardens and agricultural land, beanagar/Donwari Lolab, and spending huge amount on the entry of their wards in professional colleges and keeping the number of cars.
“Clastic verification showed that during the check period, Patwari has spent heavy and raised various assets, which were Prima Facial uneven for known sources of income,” it reads.

It said that verification has shown that soon after receiving a complaint against the suspect, he continued to receive bank loans, that is, to the tune of Rs 75 lakh to his illegal /unknown sources of income and Hudwink Investigating Officer.
“The defaults and commission acts on the part of the suspected patwari formed a cognizable offense of criminal misconduct under Section 5 (1) (E) R/W Section 5 (2), which was against J&K PC Act SVT’s 2006. 16-06-2025 against the accused Patwari”.
The statement wrote that soon after the registration of the case, the search warrant was obtained from the anti -corruption court and the discovery was done at various places related to the accused person.
“During the discovery of various depression materials, including the receipt of the purchase of gold articles, the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro and the purchase of other items, other items related to the investigation of the case were recovered and seized in the presence of magistrates and witnesses according to the procedure under the law.
