Baramulla, 26 June: The Jammu and Anti -Kashmir Bureau of Corruption Bureau (ACB) presented a charge sheet before the officials of the five retired education department, Baramullah, the anti -Judge corruption court, including two former in -charge zonal education officers (Zeeos) of Kunezer, for ‘26.87 lakhs in relation to the alleged embezzlement of government funds.
The charge sheet police station follows a detailed investigation in the case registered in 2015 under FIR No. 1/2015 at Vigilance Organization Kashmir (VOK), which is now based on a special audit report highlighting serious financial irregularities during the period 2007 to 2010.
According to the ACB, the audit report – the Commissioner of Vigilance, compiled by the office of Deputy Director Audit and Inspection Kashmir and was forwarded to the Commissioner of Vigilance by Chief Education Officer Baramullah – pointed to serious discrepancies and misuse of money in the Zeeo Kunjar office.
Verification revealed that the accused officers including the then Zeeos Abdul Hamid and Noor Mohammad Parre, along with members of other employees, had falsely misunderstood funds under various budget heads allegedly incorrectly incorrectly incorrectly under various budget heads, including various budget heads, including fake vouchers, double draws and other dishonest methods.
Alleged embezzlement break-ups include:
Overdating from ₹ 11.15 lakh GP Fund/SLI teachers.
₹ 5.34 lakh and ₹ 3.20 lakh through double draw of teachers’ salary
₹ 4.92 lakh through fiction voucher
₹ 27,222 on unauthorized mobile phone purchase
₹ 15,675 on mobile bill payment
₹ 89,366 from Red Cross Fund
₹ 31,156 from Building Fund
₹ 30,000 through a fake ta bill
₹ 4.17 lakh due to discrepancies in non-plural account balance
Overall, the accused allegedly “misusing 26,87,307 in a well -knitting conspiracy” and violating financial criteria, which caused significant damage to the state’s treasury.
Charge sheet includes people named:
Abdul haamid -Then in -charge Zeo Kunjar, now retired, residents of Karnah, Kupwara (currently live in Loypora, Srinagar)
Hilal Ahmed Mir – Then senior assistants, now retired, Mamosa Pattan, Baramullah
Noor Mohammad parre -The in -charge Zeeo Kunjar, now retired, residents of Narbal (currently in Swazeth Loypora, Srinagar)
Nazir Ahmed rather – Then head teacher, government. Middle School Gonipora, now retired, resident of Waripora, Baramulla
Mohammad Yusuf – Then head teacher, government. Middle School Sagri Batpora, now retired, residents of Kunzer, Baramullah
Officers are charged under Section 5 (1) (C), 5 (1) (D), which is read with the prevention of 5 (2) of the Corruption Act, Samvat 2006, and fraud for RPC of Section 467, 468, 471, 477-A, and 120-B, criminals, criminal consciousness, and defonatests.
All five accused were produced before the anti -corruption court and later released on individual bail bonds. The court has decided August 30, 2025As the next date of hearing.
