Ask him what he thinks about the results and performance Manchester UnitedKeane echoed the words of Harry Maguire, who was awarded the Man of the Match trophy.
“Harry said it well, they have a lot of players back now and it’s a complete team who have had a full couple of weeks together with no other distractions,” Keane replied. “They can focus on the form of the league and they are getting results.
“But, as we know, you won a game or two for Manchester United, which was fantastic. Especially beating Manchester City and coming to Manchester United arsenal. I felt Manchester United would get the result today, I would have liked a draw but I felt Manchester United would turn up.
“They have enough good players and their season is going strong and all of a sudden you think this is a great opportunity to get into the top four. If they play with that confidence and belief, you give credit to the manager and the staff.”

Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards then asked Keane whether Manchester United should hire Carrick permanently, given that Carrick has led the team to first and second wins in the league.
“Work? You’re being silly right now,” Keane replied. “No, he had two good performances but anyone can win two games. That’s what he did until the end of the season.
“Even if they do go fourth, I still don’t believe he’s the man for the job. Absolutely not. I still think they need a bigger and better coach.
“But, he got the opportunity, and what a great opportunity it was for him, you know, he thought it was fair for him.”
