Do you ever get into fights with your siblings when your parents are not home? Of course, we all do it, even Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan. In the latest episode of her daughter Navya Nanda Naveli’s podcast series What The Hell Navya, Shweta Bachchan revealed how Abhishek once “teared out” a section of her hair when her parents Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan were not at home.

“He cut it off,” Shweta said, making her mother Jaya laugh. Revealing why Abhishek did this, Shweta added: “We had a fight. My parents were out in the evening and we had some arguments. I don’t know how he found a pair of scissors, he just grabbed I had to wear it to school. Nani would put pins in my hair.”

Shweta then revealed how Jaya Bachchan styles her hair every morning before going to school. “Nani would do my hair every morning before going to school. I used to hit my head with a comb and say ‘sit up, sit up’. Braid the hair tightly and then braid it into a ring hairstyle,” she told Navya.

During the interaction, Shweta talked about Amitabh Bachchan not liking the short hair of Bachchan women. “He hated it. Even when I cut my hair, he would always ask, ‘Why are you doing that?’ “He hates it. He likes long hair. He doesn’t like when we cut it,” she said.

Shweta Bachchan is the eldest son of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. She is two years older than Abhishek Bachchan. Shweta is married to businessman Nikhil Nanda and has two children, Navya and Agastya. While Navya is away from acting, Agastya recently made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. He will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s “Ikkis”.
