The AAP leader said that he wants to move away from policy debates and see life at the grassroots level.
In the video, the Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab can be seen wearing Blinkit’s yellow uniform and helmet, sitting on the pillion seat of a delivery partner’s motorcycle and completing several orders across the city.
The footage follows the pair during what appears to be a routine work shift, offering a glimpse of the speed and pressure of last-mile delivery.
Chadha has been a vocal critic of the promises of 10-minute delivery made by instant commerce platforms. He has argued that such deadlines lead workers to take risks down the road to meet unrealistic goals.
Earlier, raising the issue during Zero Hour in the Rajya Sabha, he urged the House to look beyond convenience and consider the human cost of ultra-fast delivery.
He had earlier said, “I want to tell you that these people are not robots. They are also someone’s father, husband, brother or son. The House should think about them. And the cruelty of this 10-minute delivery should end.”
Through his latest post, Chadha tried to underline that debate with live experience, emphasizing on delivery workers and their safety.
