Raghuvinder Shokeen sworn in as minister
In the run-up to the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Nangloi Jat Assembly seat Raghuvinder Shokin was sworn in as a minister in the Delhi government on Friday. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena administered the oath of office to Shokeen at Raj Niwas. Chief Minister Atish was also on stage when he was sworn in. Former CM and Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal also congratulated Shokeen on becoming the minister.
Shokeen was inducted into the Delhi cabinet on November 18 after prominent Jat leader and Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot of the Aam Aadmi Party left the party and he has now been sworn in as a minister. It is said that in order to make up for the losses caused by Grote’s departure, the party announced the appointment of Xiaoken as a minister. Shokeen has been a councilor from Nangloi Jat twice and served as an MP twice before that.
Congratulations and best wishes to Raghuvendra Shochin Ji on being sworn in as Minister.
