Srinagar, June 17: An unfortunate road accident occurred today in front of the Rajbagh Riverfront area of Srinagar, including two minors.
The pair was riding a magnificent motorcycle without a number plate when a load carrier vehicle allegedly hit them and ran away from the scene.
Working fast, Srinagar Traffic Police personnel responded to the incident and took the injured minors to the nearest hospital. According to preliminary reports by hospital officials, their condition has been stated.
Meanwhile, the load carrier involved in the accident was stopped and detained at a checkpoint immediately after the incident. Further investigation of this case is currently going on.
The authorities urged all citizens, especially minors to avoid riding two-wheelers without proper documentation and safety measures. The traffic police is committed to ensuring public safety and implementing traffic rules across the city.
