Srinagar, Aug 01, KDC: On Friday, a gun battle took place between terrorists and security forces in Akhhal forest area of Devsar in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.
Report Kashmir.com said A joint team of the army, CRPF and Jammu -Kashmir Police, started a cordon and search operation after obtaining specific intelligence about the militant presence in the area. As the search operation intensified, contact with militants was established, which led to the exchange of fire.
