Srinagar, October 2: According to reports, one person was killed and two others were injured when a car collided on a main road in Gond area of ​​Virinag state in south Kashmir’s Anantnag province on Wednesday.
A car hit three pedestrians on the main road in Bangonde, news agency GNS reported, citing officials.
One person died on the spot and two others were seriously injured and have been shifted to Anantnag district hospital, they said.
Officials identified the deceased as Ghulam Nabi Mir 67, son of Gani Mir.
The injured were identified as Ghulam Nabi’s wife Haseena, 62, and Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, 46, both of Chingund Dooru residents.
At present, the police have opened a case in this regard and have launched an investigation.
