Police was called at around 8 pm on Monday, August 4, when the family dog attacked the child in the kitchen, causing injuries to his neck.

Freedom of information request by radar shows that 3,464 suspected XL bulls were seized in 2024.

He calculated about half of a total of 7,004 suspected banned or dangerous dogs seized by 36 police forces, providing data.

Of the 33 forces with full data on euthanasia, 2,409 restricted or dangerous dogs were placed below last year, with the XL bulls with 1,275 (53 percent).
