A 22 -year -old woman is facing allegations of killing a second degree in the death of a newborn child in Kingston, Onts.
Kingston Police say the officials on Sunday started an investigation into a suspected death in 1400 blocks of Albani Drive in West End of the city.
Police say my Guyen was arrested on 29 July and was initially accused of improperly intervened with a body, and she was in custody.
They say that the woman was later accused of killing a second degree of a newborn child as a result of a continuous investigation.
“Due to the circumstances of the incident under investigation, no prior release was made, as there was no clear risk for public safety,” police said in a release.
The investigation is on, and anyone is asked to contact them with information.
