A teenager has been arrested in connection with the death of a 71 -year -old Toronto woman stabbing a woman.
Officials say the attack took place on 17 July at Parkway Forest Drive and Northern York Plaza near Shepard Avenue East.
The authorities located 71 -year -old Shahnaz Pestonji, 71, located with knife wounds after 9:30 pm and rushed him to the hospital, where he was later declared dead.
The suspicious area fled before the police came to the spot.
On Sunday, officials announced the arrest of a 14 -year -old Toronto boy. He faces a single change in killing the second degree and cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
He is scheduled to appear in Toronto Court on Monday, July 21, 2025.
