However, at Barrera’s own suggestion, the band sought out other collaborators, including Tito Double P, Los Deries de la Sierra, Ozuna, and Myke Towers, who contributed their styles.
The new album also reflects Grupo Frontera’s new approach of allowing songs of pain to be embraced.
“Generally, our lyrics are sad, but the music is happy,” Pyo said. “With this album, (“Lo que me falta por l’orar”) we try to make sad songs really sad.”
