The livestream appeared for at least eight minutes late Thursday at Whitehouse.gov/live, where the White House typically streams live video of the president’s speech.
It is unclear whether the website was breached or the video was linked by mistake by someone in the government. The White House did not immediately respond Friday to a message seeking comment.
The video, which appeared on a government-run website, showed a more than two-hour livestream of Matt Farley, who posts as @RealMattMoney, as he answers financial questions.
