CCTV footage captures the moment a paid killer shot a man outside a pub on Hogmanay.
Grant Hunter, 34, shot Mark Webley, 38, outside the Anchor Inn in Granton. edinburghOn December 31, 2023, just before midnight.
Hunter can be seen parking a stolen Hyundai Tucson outside the pub, before getting out of the vehicle and shooting at Weebley and another man, 39-year-old Stuart Pearson. The court heard he made sure to pull down his balaclava so Webley could see his identity.
Hunter pleaded guilty to the murder of Webley and the attempted murder of Pearson. He faces a minimum sentence of 26 years for the crime but has been told he may never be released.
