New one fast food chain Has taken place as a new fan-favorite in the United States.
bark The list of Most Loved Brands for 2025 was released on Tuesday, and a new winner has topped the list. This year’s list was compiled after analyzing a range of consumer behaviour, including average customer ratings, number of times the website was visited and photo uploads.
The brand claiming the number one spot this year was Dave’s Hot Chicken.
In addition to Dave’s 71 percent Review With four and five stars on Yelp, the brand was also named Yelp’s Most Preferred Food Brand in the US Western region. The restaurant was also named the number one restaurant in Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Utah, Washington State and Washington, DC.
According to Yelp reviews, customers particularly highlighted the chain’s consistent food quality, generous portion sizes, fast service, and especially its customization options. When ordering a meal at Dave’s, customers can adjust the spice level of their chicken, ranging from mild “No Spicy” to spicy “Reaper.”
The brand also recently brought back a “Dave’s Not Chicken” section of the menu, offering cauliflower sliders among other options.
Despite only being founded in 2017, Dave’s Hot Chicken was able to beat out long-standing fast-food icons like McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A, which didn’t crack the top 50 brands on the list.
While Dave’s was number one, Trader Joe’s took the number two spot, with Korean fried-chicken chain, bb.q Chicken, claiming third place on the list.
This news comes a few months later 25th Annual Drive-Thru StudyPowered by InTouch Insight and QSR magazine, was released in October. The study looked at 165 stores across the US, spanning 13 food brands, between June and July 2025.
Customers visited each store throughout the day and on different days of the week to see which staff member worked the fastest. Other metrics tracked at each store were order accuracy, satisfaction and friendliness, food quality and suggestive sales.
The results found that customers love drive-thru at Chick-fil-A and Dutch Bros., both of which had an overall satisfaction rate of 98 percent, driven by the most accurate orders and friendliest staff members.
Popeyes was in second place with a 96 percent satisfaction rate, followed by Starbucks, Arby’s and KFC.
However, customers were not as happy with McDonald’s drive-thru, which had the lowest customer satisfaction rate at 86 percent. Dunkin’ Donuts and Raising Cane’s were also at the bottom of the list with an 87 percent customer satisfaction rate.
