King Charles is ready to share personal cancer update In a video message during the Stand Up To Cancer program on Channel 4 tonight.

This message was recorded in the morning room of Clarence House during the last week of November.
The King’s message will be broadcast immediately before the live show at 8 p.m. Davina McCallWho have recently been treated for breast cancer.
Stand Up to Cancer is part of a week-long campaign which sees fundraising events and celebrity challenges to raise awareness of screening as well as generate support for people living with cancer and their families.

McCall will follow patients’ journey through key moments from a cancer clinic at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, from receiving test results to treatment.
The king’s cancer diagnosis was announced on 6 February last year and he suspended all public-facing engagements for a period, but continued his duties as head of state behind the palace walls.
The king returned to public royal engagements in April 2025 with a visit to the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Center in central London with Queen Camilla. There, when he spoke to a fellow cancer patient, Leslie Woodbridge, he talked about his “shock” at being diagnosed.
King told him: “It’s always a bit of a shock when they tell you, isn’t it?”
The King has been receiving his cancer treatment as an outpatient since early February 2024 and is believed to attend weekly sessions at the London clinic.
Following positive progress in his cancer treatment, Charles resumed his workload at the beginning of the year.
There has been no official update on the King’s health condition for some time, but during a royal visit to Bradford in May, Safina Khan, a local florist, inquired about his well-being, to which the King gave a thumbs-up and replied: “I think I’m on the better side (of my cancer journey)”.
