“I know it is difficult to beat them here because they were winning the last seven matches.
“When we started the season our idea was to manage every player, give them a chance to play, help us, make them feel comfortable in our structure and how we are managing it. I like how they are responding and how we are preparing the players in our structure.

“The pitch wasn’t the best and you could see in our play that it wasn’t as fluid as we could have been. We could have done better in some phases but it’s really nice to go home with a win,” he said.
“There was space for me to shoot at the first post so I tried to keep it and put it as low as possible. The first goal they conceded was on that side so I thought it would help if I hit it on that side because I saw he was hurt.
“Where we are now is very good. We still have two more matches to play, away at Fenerbahce and at home to Hamburg. It’s going to be tough but we want to win both and see where we are.”
