stretch
We arrived in the evening to find a local three-piece band performing 90s Euro pop to a crowd of seated guests, all tapping their feet and smiling. It’s an all-inclusive package holiday hotel with all the trimmings: cold beer, friendly staff, war on sunbeds and an all-you-can-eat buffet.
The decor is pale wood, lots of glass and soft Mediterranean colors. It’s new and shiny, but sometimes it also feels like it’s not quite ready. The hotel was officially inaugurated in the summer of 2025 and during our visit, in late summer, there was still evidence of construction work, including pencil rulings on the walls.
With over 200 rooms it feels like a big resort. We visited in October when the mood was cool, but we were told that in the height of summer there is much buzz about the beaches, pool area and restaurants.
Service
The staff were always friendly, especially in the restaurants, and your glass would never be empty. The resort buzzes at an easy pace – entertainment teams offer yoga classes and quizzes, but there are no throbbing playlists or the feeling of forced activities by the pool. At all three restaurants, we found the staff to be very friendly.
bed and bath
The hotel has 201 rooms on seven floors. It comprises 133 Superior rooms, 33 Superior Triple rooms, 24 Family rooms, six Family Grand suites and six Grand suites.
In general, accommodation in Valmer is clean, modern and well equipped. Double and twin rooms come with a balcony or terrace, Nespresso machine, minibar and smart TV. suites Provide more space and advanced touch.
The sea views are stunning and the sunrise over the Ionian is definitely worth ringing your alarm. However it is worth noting that not all rooms have sea views. From a style point of view the room may feel a bit cold. They are aesthetically pleasing and modern, but not in the top-tier league of five-star resorts. In entry-level rooms, storage seems quite limited.

Food and Drink
This is a hotel where you can easily spend the whole day eating and drinking; A place where no one will bat an eyelid after breakfast at 11 a.m. by the pool.
There are three different restaurants available – one of which is a buffet, the other two are table service. Two themed evening restaurants include Mediterranean on the beach and Peruvian fusion on the rooftop. The main restaurant has theme nights in the evenings – during our stay these were Mexican, Greek and Middle Eastern – and also offers a huge variety of buffets for breakfast and lunch. The food is better than you’d expect, given the wide range of choices, and offers something for even the pickiest eater.
The private beach has a bar area, one in the hotel lobby and another near the pool, all serving draft beer, coffee and many other alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
facilities
The hotel can feel secluded, so it helps that there’s plenty to keep you entertained during the day, away from a sun lounger and the occasional dip in the sea. There are three pools (the main, with a Jacuzzi and family-only, adults-only), a gym, a spa, tennis courts, live music most evenings, and yoga sessions.
There are fewer Zen sunchairs, which show a habit of disappearing quickly; A card is left in your room upon arrival requesting residents not to use towels in the morning to save bedding.
There will be plenty of space for families to move around and children to play safely. The shallow pebble bay is accessible via a lift and a tunnel under the coastal road.
There is also a kids club, car rental service and doctor on-call.

The hotel, its restaurant and the beach are all wheelchair accessible.
