Spence Jr. underwent surgery for an eye injury, which doctors apparently said may have been caused by the boxer’s infamous car accident.
In 2019, the Texan was hospitalized after crashing his Ferrari in his hometown of Dallas, where his vehicle flipped several times and Spence Jr. was thrown from the vehicle.
Spence Jr. survived the incident without any broken bones but lost his teeth and suffered facial injuries. He was charged with drunken driving, but avoided jail, instead receiving probation.
