The state’s GSDP for the quarter stood at ₹400,377 crore, up from ₹359,778 crore a year ago. The pace marked a pickup from the 10.17% growth recorded in the same period in 2024-25.

Gross value added (GVA), which tracks the performance of individual sectors, grew 11.30% in the quarter, compared with 10.26% a year ago.
Agriculture GVA grew 10.70% in the second quarter, while industry grew 12% – a sharp improvement from the 2.78% recorded in the year-ago quarter. The services sector grew by 11.51%, broadly stable compared to last year’s 11.31%.
