A truck driver’s cab was saved after being stuck on an icy bridge for hours after an accident West Virginia Early Tuesday (December 2).
It came as the first major storm of the winter blanketed parts of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic with snow and ice, making roads dangerous, disrupting travel and closing schools as some areas received several inches of heavy snowfall.
Rescuers used a ladder truck to get the driver out of the cab, who was unharmed.
