Ruth Langsford Has spoken openly about his separation from Eamonn Holmes,

talking to woman and home Magazine, Langsford said she was in a good place after the split.
“Before, I looked at the darkness and thought, “Oh my God, what’s going to happen?” But now there’s fear. [has] Gone,” he said.
“Because what do you do? Do you collapse? Do you lay down and die? Oh no, I don’t. I’ll survive.”
She also talked about her future, saying that she has learned to enjoy her independence – while also being open to the possibility of finding love again.

“I have not been prevented from having a relationship,” he insisted. “I’m not even put off by marriage, but I’m definitely not actively looking, and one of the reasons for that is I’ve realized that I’m actually quite good on my own.
“I’m independent and pretty strong. It took me a while.” [to realise that] And I don’t know what will happen next, but that chapter looks pretty exciting now. “It’s not as scary as I thought.”
Since the separation, Holmes has been dating Katie Alexander, a relationship counselor. Langsford and Holmes have a son, 23-year-old Jack.
In the new interview, Langsford also talked about the importance of counseling during her divorce.

He said, “When Eamon and I separated I started counseling and I still have it. It’s very powerful and very helpful. It gives me tools to deal with things.”
“My counselor has probably seen us on TV, but she doesn’t know either of us so doesn’t get involved and doesn’t make decisions. She just listens and says, ‘Have you thought about this?’ or ‘Why did you feel that way?’ I feel like I know myself pretty well, so it’s been pretty quiet.”
