Robert Sanchez delivers verdict that mocks Barcelona’s teenage superstar, Lamin Yamalafter Chelsea wins 3-0 over barcelona Champions League By claiming that the Blues defender mark cucurella Kept him ‘in his pocket’ for the entire game.

goal from estevaoOwn goals from Liam Delap and Jules Kounde ensured Chelsea beat Barca at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening, but Ronald Araujo’s sending off before half-time gave the hosts more time and space on the ball.

With tight and resolute defending from Cucurella, who made it his mission to keep Yamal quiet on Barcelona’s right wing, the La Liga side were ineffective in trying to impose themselves on Chelsea.

Sanchez spoke to the Spanish media after the match and talked about Battle of Kukurela with Yamal Claiming that ‘he had it in his pocket’.

Metro also reports Sanchez sent Yamal a message which read: ‘Everyone is great as long as they get to the Premier League.’

Yamal was also the target of Chelsea supporters due to his struggling performance and fans taunted him throughout the game with chants of ‘You’re just as*** Estévaio’.

Chelsea’s margin of victory could have been even greater as Enzo Fernandez had two goals disallowed in the first half, but Kounde’s own goal put them ahead.

Speaking more candidly about the match, Sanchez admitted that Araújo’s red card gave Chelsea an ‘advantage’ in the game, but he believes the Premier League side were dominant from the first whistle.

“The red card gave us a little advantage, but we dominated the game from the first minute,” Sanchez said. “We scored a lot of goals, three of them were offside, and I’m very happy with the win.

“I know how much quality we have, we know how they played, we have faced them and won head-to-head. In matches against top opponents, we always rise to the occasion. We are a team that always rise to the occasion in big moments, and we have done that once again. It’s just another game.

The win moved Chelsea to fifth in the Champions League table with 10 points from five games in the league stage.
