New Delhi, November 20 (IANS) As the investigation into the November 10 Delhi blasts case intensified, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested four more key accused involved in the terror attack, taking the total number of arrests in the case to six.

According to NIA, three accused are from Jammu and Kashmir, while one is from Uttar Pradesh.

The NIA has identified the accused as Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganai of Pulwama, Dr Adeel Ahmed Rather of Anantnag, Mufti Irfan Ahmed Wage of Shopian, all from Jammu and Kashmir, and Dr Shaheen Saeed of Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh).

“On the production order of the District Sessions Judge, Patiala House Court, all four accused were taken into custody by the NIA in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir,” the NIA said in its press note on Thursday.

According to the NIA investigation, all of them played an important role in the terrorist attack in which many innocent people were killed and many others were injured.

Moving swiftly in its investigation in the case, the NIA had earlier arrested two accused – Amir Rashid Ali, in whose name the car used in the blast was registered, and Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, who had provided technical support to the terrorist involved in the deadly attack.

According to earlier press notes, Jasir had allegedly provided technical support to carry out terrorist attacks by modifying drones and attempting to build rockets before the deadly car bomb explosion that killed 13 and injured 32 people.

Earlier on Monday, a Delhi court had also sent Kashmiri resident Aamir Rashid Ali, accused of conspiring with Omar, to 10-day NIA custody. Ali, in whose name the car used in the blast was registered, was arrested on 16 November.

“His interrogation is ongoing as part of NIA’s efforts to uncover the entire terrorist conspiracy in case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI,” the NIA said.

The anti-terrorism agency, which was handed over the investigation by the Union Home Ministry soon after the attack, is working closely with various state police forces to track down and arrest each member of the terrorist module involved in the terror attack.
