New Delhi: Donald Trump Jr., son of US President Donald Trump, is going to come to Agra on Thursday to see the Taj Mahal. He will reach Kheria airport in a special flight, after which he will leave for the iconic monument.
Trump Jr. is scheduled to visit the Taj Mahal with 126 special guests from 40 countries. In 2020, US President Trump visited the memorial with his wife Melania Trump, but this will be Donald Trump Jr.’s first visit.
The local administration has made extensive preparations for their arrival, including removing 16 stray dogs and 12 cows from the roads and carrying out special cleaning drives to ensure smooth movement and enhanced security.
Trump Jr., who is also a businessman, is likely to visit India over the weekend to attend the high-profile destination wedding of an Indian American couple in Udaipur, Rajasthan. In anticipation of his visit, a team of the American security agency has already reached Udaipur and is reviewing the security arrangements.
The wedding is scheduled to take place on 21st and 22nd November. The main function will be held at the historic Jag Mandir Palace located in the middle of Lake Pichola, while other celebrations will take place at Manek Chowk within the City Palace complex. According to sources, Trump Jr. will stay in The Leela Palace Udaipur, one of the most luxurious hotels in the city.
Apart from Donald Trump Jr., many Indian politicians and celebrities are expected to attend the event. Ahead of the arrival of these VIP guests, the Rajasthan administration has started taking stringent security measures across Udaipur. Officials said the city will be on high alert during the two-day celebrations and special arrangements will be made on the route from the airport to Lake Pichola.
Known as the “City of Lakes”, Udaipur is famous for its grand heritage hotels, palaces and forts, making it one of the most beautiful wedding destinations in India. This royal city nestled in the Aravalli hills has long been a preferred choice for grand celebrations among affluent families. It has previously hosted the wedding or pre-wedding festivities of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Raveena Tandon, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Hardik Pandya and billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani.
