Swedish authorities on Saturday released the driver of a double-decker city bus who was detained after the vehicle collided at a bus stop a day earlier. StockholmMurder of three people.
The public prosecutor’s office said it ordered the release after questioning the driver, and that an investigation into the incident, which took place in the Östermalm district of the Swedish capital, was ongoing.
Initially three people were injured in the accident which occurred on Friday afternoon. Regional officials said Saturday that one person remained hospitalized with serious but “not life-threatening” injuries and another person with moderate injuries.
