New Delhi, Nov 14 (IANS) As the NDA is poised to win over 200 seats in the 243-member Bihar Assembly, BJP leaders and workers celebrated in different parts of the country on Friday.

Similarly, in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, there was celebration after the projected victory of NDA. Supporters celebrated with fireworks and cutouts of PM Modi and CM Yogi.
In Patna, Bihar, BJP supporters gathered at the party’s state headquarters to mark the alliance’s strong lead in the results.
Celebrations continue in Bhojpur, Bihar as NDA’s lead remains intact in the assembly elections.
In Bihar’s Bhagalpur, BJP workers celebrated enthusiastically as the party signaled a clear victory.
BJP workers also celebrated in Mumbai, Maharashtra as NDA’s lead continued in Bihar elections.
In Kolkata, West Bengal, BJP workers distributed laddus at the state party office as counting trends indicated a possible victory for the NDA.
The ruling NDA is headed towards a massive victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, with latest trends showing the alliance crossing the 200-seat mark as of 4 pm.
According to early trends from the Election Commission of India (ECI) at 4:00 pm, BJP is emerging as the largest party with a lead on 96 seats, while JDU is at second place with 85 seats.
The counting process for all 243 assembly seats began at 8 am, starting with the verification of postal ballots. This was followed by counting of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) votes from 8.30 am, which took place under elaborate multi-layered security arrangements across the state.
The candidates of both the alliances expressed confidence in their performance. NDA leaders emphasized that the people of Bihar have reposed faith in the guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the work of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the development of the state.
The RJD-led grand alliance claimed that Bihar has “voted for change” and expressed hope that Tejashwi Yadav will form the next government.
