Mumbai, Nov 12 (IANS) Shiv Sena Uddhav (UBT) on Wednesday said Delhi is shaken by a bomb blast, and accused the Center of failing to eliminate terrorism and give priority to national security.
The party in its mouthpiece ‘Saamna’ has called upon BJP workers and supporters to demand the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah if they are true devotees of Bharat Mata.
“It would be a service to the nation. If the Home Minister resigns, it would be a favor to 140 crore people; otherwise, cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru would be seen drenched in blood,” the editorial warned.
In a scathing editorial, the Thackeray camp said that the vermilion of 26 women in Pahalgam was erased in front of the Home Minister’s eyes, an explosion took place in front of his nose, the Red Fort was shaken and after that the Home Minister is holding a meeting with the police and security officials. Delhi bomb blast has raised many serious questions before the country.
The party said Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the nation from the historic Red Fort, promised to end terrorism, but terrorists have carried out bomb blasts in the same area. “When Delhi was rocked by the bomb blasts, the entire Cabinet, including the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, was busy campaigning for the Bihar elections. The Prime Minister also reached Bhutan, and from there he warned, “No one will be spared”. So far 12 people have been killed in the blast, and 25 civilians have been injured. People are being killed like ants on the streets of Delhi, and the government is busy campaigning for the Bihar elections,” he taunted.
The Thackeray camp claimed that the system was politicized and said that the system was being used to detect political opponents instead of detecting terrorists.
According to the editorial, the Home Minister repeatedly says that he will eliminate all terrorists, but in his eyes the leaders of the opposition parties are terrorists and currently security forces are being used to control them.
“The blasts took place in Delhi on Monday, ahead of the last phase of voting in Bihar on Tuesday. The Prime Minister and the Home Minister themselves are responsible for this terrorist attack because they are incapable of handling the country. They have no idea about law and order. Amit Shah, who fancies himself a Sardar Patel, is the weakest Home Minister ever,” the editorial said.
