Bhopal, November 11 (IANS) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is capable of handling the situation arising out of the Red Fort blast in Delhi. Addressing a gathering of gram panchayat heads (village sarpanches) at an event organized by the state Panchayat and Rural Development department at Bhopal’s Jamboree Maidan, the chief minister said, “PM Modi will not spare the accused responsible for the blast. He is capable of handling the situation. This incident was very tragic. The Home Minister is investigating it.” Before starting his speech, the Chief Minister and other participants also observed two minutes of silence. Yadav reiterated that the Government of India is fully capable of dealing with such situations and those responsible for such incidents have never been spared under the Modi government. The Chief Minister also claimed that PM Modi has pledged to eliminate MoSIM from India by 2026 and the results of his strong commitment have been seen in many states including Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. He claimed, “India’s leadership is in the strong hands of PM Modi. Home Minister Amit Shah is personally monitoring the investigation into the blasts, and he will present every fact before the people of the country. As always, the BJP government will not spare anyone found involved in the Delhi blasts.” Notably, in the wake of the deadly car blast near the historic Red Fort in Delhi, the Union Home Ministry has directed all major cities across India to step up security measures. Security has been put on highest alert in major cities, especially Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain, Jabalpur and Rewa. Heavy police force and other security agencies have started extensive searches at airports, railway stations and markets in major cities.
