Born in an ordinary family, Bharti’s father works as a sub-engineer and her mother is a housewife. After completing her Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Gwalior, Bharti’s ambitions took a different turn. While his degree opened doors to careers in technology, his heart was focused on serving the public through civil services.
She moved to Delhi to begin her civil services preparation, later relocating to Indore to focus more intensively.
Enduring Failures, Embracing the Lessons
Bharti started her MPPSC journey in 2017. She passed the preliminary and main examination in her first attempt, but could not proceed beyond the interview. What followed was a series of disappointments – five interviews, six failed attempts and countless hours of preparation.
Still, every failure became a stepping stone. “There were days when I wanted to give up,” recalls Bharti. “But my parents always reminded me that girls should stand on their own feet. Their belief in me inspired me to move forward.”
His persistence paid off when he finally passed the 2023 MPPSC exam – scoring 702.50 marks in the mains and 124 marks in the interview.
A quiet success that inspired
When MPPSC declared the final result on November 8, 2025, Bharti’s name was among 197 successful candidates. The list also includes 24 deputy collectors and 19 DSPs. Bharti says she was “more surprised than happy” after seeing her name in the list, describing the moment as surreal.
Now appointed as Block Development Officer, Bharti will work under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department. Her story of courage, grit and resilience is now inspiring countless other candidates across Madhya Pradesh.
For Bharti, success is not a destination but a milestone. His next goal is to become Deputy Collector. She is planning to appear for State Service Mains 2025 with new determination.
