She said, “Right now it’s about 70%. I’m basically letting things happen. I’m not letting anything happen.”

He also shared that since the diagnosis, his outlook towards everyday life has changed. “I don’t worry about small things,” the actor said. “It’s not worth it. I was hurrying here, and I said, ‘Wait a minute. You’re not going anywhere.'”

During an interview in October TV InsiderShe recalled noticing that something was “not quite right” this summer, prompting her to book an appointment with her doctor, who referred her for a colonoscopy.

When a surgeon saw her results, he ordered her to have an MRI, PET scan and biopsy. “And as soon as she said that, I knew it was something else,” Rogers told the publication. After another procedure, it was discovered that he had stage two colorectal cancer.

“He said, ‘You have cancer and you need to start treatment,'” Rogers recalled. “It was all a shock. I mean, I think I was in shock for days because I take pretty good care of myself. But he said, ‘It’s a good thing you caught it in time.'”
