Bengaluru, Nov 10 (IANS) The Karnataka BJP unit on Monday staged a protest condemning purported videos showing radical elements, ISIS activists and criminals getting luxurious treatment inside the Bengaluru Central Jail.

State President and MLA BY Vijayendra, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly R. BJP leaders led by Ashok, MLAs, MLCs and former ministers were going to gherao Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s residence, but were detained by the police.

The police forcibly put BJP leaders, including women leaders, in buses and took them to an unknown place. BJP leaders raised slogans against the Congress-led government, demanding the resignation of CM Siddaramaiah and Home Minister G Parameshwara.

Vajyadra Dendendra is a human body, reports the revelations of Rescience, Paradisites.

Speaking to reporters he said that Parappana Agrahara jail has effectively turned into a night club or entertainment club. Terrorists, ISIS agents and Muslim radicals reportedly enjoy luxurious treatment inside the prison. He alleged that the prisoners are allegedly provided with TVs, mobile phones and even weapons and all this is happening with ease.

He criticized the state government for turning a blind eye to the situation. He said, “It is clear from the negligence of the Congress government that luxury facilities have been provided to anti-national elements in Parappana Agrahara jail. Even after reports were published in newspapers and visual media, action was taken only yesterday.”

He said, “Our democracy is in danger; This is no less than a massacre.” He said that the Siddaramaiah government has made luxury arrangements for the anti-national elements inside the jail.

Vijayendra warned that if nothing was done the government would fail to pursue cases against anti-national elements. He demanded that both the Chief Minister and the Home Minister resign immediately in the interest of dignity and public accountability.

“Not only have radical elements and ISIS operatives got a free hand outside, but Karnataka’s jails have also been turned into government-sponsored entertainment clubs for terrorists,” Vijayendra said.

“Rahul Gandhi, who frequently travels abroad and seeks outside interference in India’s internal affairs, is he now enabling these terrorists and using his network to create unrest across the country and destabilize our democracy for artificial regime change with the help of the same foreign forces?” Vijayendra asked a question.

He alleged, “Mobile phones, luxurious comforts and ample ‘fun time’ – no wonder these radicals find it so convenient to work under this shameless regime and they consider jails as their favorite holiday destinations, where everything is provided to them free of cost because of the anti-national Congress government and our poor taxpayers’ money.”

R. Ashok alleged that calls were being made from jail to Pakistan and Afghanistan through the hotline run by Siddaramaiah, DK Shivakumar and Parameshwara.

He questioned whether the intelligence agencies have been inactive for the last two years and accused the Congress of converting police stations into party offices.

Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Chalawadi Narayanaswamy criticized the Congress government for its decision to provide all necessary facilities to the terrorists inside the jail.

BJP MLC CT Ravi said criminals need not go to resorts – they can go to jail instead. “They can also watch pornographic films inside the jail. The criminals are being given royal treatment inside the jail,” he said.

Criticizing the state government, he said, “Despite the National Investigation Agency (NIA) issuing a warning, the state government has shown complete negligence. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister Parameshwara should resign. They cannot wash their hands of the case by merely suspending junior level officers.”
