According to a report in News18 Hindi, Hrithik Solanki, son of a driver of a government official, has secured the post of Deputy Collector by clearing the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) 2023 examination.
Hrithik’s father, Roopsingh Solanki, serves as the official driver of IAS officer Srishti Jayant Deshmukh, one of India’s most recognized young civil servants.
According to News18 Hindi, despite financial constraints, Roop Singh ensured that his son received a quality education, and would often put the family’s needs aside to support Hrithik’s ambitions.

Srishti Deshmukh had secured All India Rank 5 in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination 2018 and topped the women’s category.
He is currently serving as Additional District Magistrate (ADM) in Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh. With a strong public presence and millions of social media followers, she is considered one of the most prominent female IAS officers of India.

According to the report, seeing his father working closely with an IAS officer inspired Hrithik to join the civil services.
From Delhi University to Deputy Collector
Hrithik’s journey was not easy at all. Roop Singh told News18 Hindi that he and his wife made financial sacrifices for Hrithik’s Delhi University studies and later his civil services coaching, cutting down on household expenses and giving up basic amenities. He even sold his GPS device to raise extra money.
Hrithik had earlier qualified the MPPSC 2022 exam and was appointed as Assistant Treasury Officer (ATO), currently posted at Alirajpur.
His recent success in MPPSC 2023 has earned him the Deputy Collector designation, fulfilling his long-time dream.

Hrithik gives credit for his success to his parents. According to News18 Hindi, his elder brother, Rahul Solanki, has also qualified for Madhya Pradesh Forest Service and is currently training at Chandrapur Forest Academy in Maharashtra.
Since then his achievement has emerged as a source of inspiration for candidates from ordinary backgrounds.
