The company introduced the model in the presence of Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, in line with the government’s push for widespread electric mobility adoption.
The new variant adds to a portfolio that already includes the VX2 Go 2.2 kWh and VX2 Plus, and reinforces VIDA’s plans to make electric mobility widely accessible under its “Ghar Ghar eVooter” vision.
The VIDA positions the VX2 Go 3.4 kWh as a higher-range option within the lineup. It has dual removable batteries, real-world range of up to 100 km per charge, 6 kW of peak power and 26 Nm of torque.
The scooter offers eco and ride modes, a top speed of 70 km/h, 27.2 liters of under-seat storage, a flat floorboard and suspension calibrated for Indian road conditions.
Kaushalya Nandakumar, chief business officer, Emerging Mobility Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp, said the new variant is aimed at customers who want more range and efficiency without compromising on everyday practicality.
The company continues to support adoption through its Battery-as-a-Service program, which lets customers subscribe to batteries instead of purchasing them. VIDA says this reduces upfront ownership costs.
Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is priced at 1,02,000, while the BaaS subscription starts at Cost per kilometer Rs 60,000 0.90. The brand currently offers access to over 4,600 charging points and 700 service touchpoints across India.
