Sitamarhi: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha on Saturday said the state will no longer succumb to helplessness or anarchy, asserting that the NDA alliance will break the record of the 2010 elections.
Speaking to IANS, Vijay Kumar Sinha said, “With the double engine government, Bihar is moving fast on the path of development. Good governance is taking the state towards prosperity, and people are voting accordingly. Bihar will no longer suffer from helplessness, nor will it descend from law and order into ‘jungle raj’ or the rule of goons.”
He said, “This year also the NDA government will break the record of 2010 and free Bihar from the influence of RJD and Congress.”
Criticizing the opposition, the Deputy Chief Minister said, “RJD-Congress means atrocities. Extortion, massacres and kidnappings were rampant during RJD rule. They are now dreaming of returning to power, but the public will not let that happen. The government will not let Bihar go back to those dark days.”
He further said, “The people of Maa Bharati will support only those who believe in ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ (collective effort, inclusive development).”
