Patna, Nov 7 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuing his attack on the RJD-led grand alliance during the second phase of election campaign, recalled the prosperous development of Dalmia Nagar and how the city as well as the entire industry was ruined due to anarchy and misgovernance under the RJD-led Jungle Raj era.
Addressing a mega rally in Bhabua, PM Modi said that Dalmia Nagar, one of the oldest and largest industrial complexes – built during the British rule, emerged as a prosperous township and opened up innumerable opportunities for the youth of Bihar, but it became a victim of Jungle Raj and all the factories and mills disappeared from the region and the people of Rohtas witnessed the same – thus huge employment opportunities were snatched away from the people.
“A thriving industrial city was being built through decades of hard work, but then came the politics of misgovernance and jungle raj came into existence. Extortion, ransom demands, corruption, cuts and commissions, murders, kidnappings, strikes… all this started happening. In the blink of an eye, jungle raj destroyed everything,” PM Modi said, warning people to be cautious while exercising their right to vote in elections.
The Prime Minister also criticized previous governments for not allowing the tourism potential of Kaimur to be explored. He said that this area is home to diverse vegetation and picturesque places, but due to RJD’s misgovernance it could never get its due rights.
He said the region remained under Red Terror during the RJD regime and it was during the NDA government that its natural beauty and picturesque places started luring tourists from across the country.
The Prime Minister also criticized the two crown princes – Rahul and Tejashwi – for placing themselves and their families above the framers of the Constitution, including Babasaheb Ambedkar.
He said, “These people do not respect anyone except their family. Congress ended Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s politics because his stature was higher than the Congress royal family. They could not even tolerate Babu Jagjivan Ram ji and they did the same with Sitaram Kesari ji.”
The Prime Minister also criticized both the ‘Naamdars’ for their ‘disdainful’ attitude towards Lord Ram and his birthplace and said that they have deliberately avoided going there (Ayodhya) because they practice appeasement politics and believe that their vote bank will slip away if they visit the holy land of Lord Ram.
