kate garraway told Robert Jenrick live for swearing in good morning britain As he criticized David Lammy,
During Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday (5 November), the Justice Secretary failed to answer questions about the mistaken release of 24-year-old Algerian national Brahim Kaddour-Cherif from HMP Wandsworth, despite being informed about the case.
The Justice Ministry said that the Deputy PM was asked questions about the release of an asylum seeker, but after PMQs it was confirmed that the person was not an asylum seeker. The ministry said Mr Lammy waited for PMQs and other facts to emerge before making the statement.
During Thursday’s (6 November) show, Ms Garraway argued that the Deputy Prime Minister might not want to talk about the release before it was confirmed. Mr Jenrick called it “complete nonsense”, to which the host intervened, saying: “Don’t swear, don’t swear.”
He later apologized on behalf of the MP, and urged him not to take the oath again because he would “get us all in trouble”.
